Mackenzie

Mackenzie has been my best friend since the fourth grade. We have had many ups and downs in this 11 year friendship. Her family moved to Fairhope, Alabama, and we missed them so much that my family decided to follow them. Now we go to school together and are still up to no good.

Mackenzie is probably the clumsiest person I have ever met. She could be standing still  and still manage to trip or fall. Many of my memories of her are of her tripping and falling.

The other night we decided to watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy (or TRILL-all-o-gee as she would pronounce it) because she had never seen it before. She had something to say about everything. It was so funny. She had me laughing so hard I was crying. It was the best three hours of my life. She didn’t understand why they sent the least qualified person to destroy the ring.

Yesterday we were in the Life Sciences building at our college and we were waiting on the Geology Club meeting to start. There are maps of the surrounding states lining the walls of the hallway so we decided to look at them. Well we can’t be serious even for a minute so we started making jokes and puns about the county names. For example (this is one of the better ones because it turns out we aren’t that good at these) there is a county somewhere in Mississippi (I think) called Harrison. “You need to shave because you Harrison” (pronounced like hairy son). We couldn’t stop laughing.

She is one of the funniest people that I have ever met. She is seriously great. Her blog’s name is “Mackenzie’s blog?” if you want to check it out, but like mine, it’s in the works and new.
